Thank you for the insight on illuminating the museums. Although LED technology is the most per watt efficient, it’s very well known that this technology provides the most inefficient spectrum power distribution on color. This can be shown when measuring the light sources with other methods like TM-30-18 or better SSI than CRI, where in the latter, light manufacturers use gaming to obtain higher rendering scores. It would be interesting to know the workaround museographers and light designers use around LED spectrum power distribution limitations to bring the visitors the best color rendition of the art when combining LED with daylight. Thanks once again for the informative insight.

The optics are not very precise. There is pincushioning on the straight sides, rounded corners and considerable drop off at the edges of the beam. Not very impressive for an Erco priced product.
